Troubleshooting

Installing and starting

My account page says “No release for this system yet”. No version has been published for your system yet. Try again later or write to us on Telegram.

The server says No active license found or license expired! The license isn’t activated or has expired. Check the date on your account page and click Renew if needed. Then start the server with your key:

./server --license-key YOUR_KEY

On Windows, run the same thing in a command prompt opened in the program’s folder, with server.exe instead of ./server.

The server says Failed to unlock vault (missing password). You’re running with --headless but didn’t supply the master password. Set SERVER_MASTER_PASS or pass --key-file, see running unattended.

The console window closes right away or says Press enter to exit.... The server stopped with an error. Read the text above that line. Logs are also in data/logs.

The server won’t start and says the address is in use. Another program is using port 8080. Set another port in api_bind in data/config.toml, for example 127.0.0.1:8081, and open the panel on that port.

I forgot my master password. It can’t be recovered. The only option is to delete or rename the data folder, start the server again and re-add your accounts.

The panel

localhost:8080 won’t open. Check that the server is running and the console shows a line with api listening. If the server is on another machine, connect through an SSH tunnel.

The dot in the panel’s corner is red. The panel has lost the server. Check that the server is running and reload the page.

The panel opens but data won’t load. Your license has probably expired, or the server has been unable to reach the license service for more than 72 hours. Check your internet connection and the license date.

Accounts

“No maFile for login …”. No matching file was found for that login:password line. The login must equal the account_name field in the .maFile.

“No log:pass line for account …”. The other way round: the file was added, but there’s no line with that login.

“Each line must be log:pass”. A line has no colon, or the login or password is empty. Each account takes one line.

“Files must use the .maFile extension” or “File is not valid JSON”. You picked the wrong file, or the file is damaged or encrypted. A .maFile must be a plain JSON file with no encryption.

The inventory is empty. Choose games in the account settings and run a sync.

If nothing helps

Write to our Telegram channel. Include the error text and the latest file from data/logs. Never send your master password, license key, .maFile files or the data folder.
